When Traveling in Pakistan is Your Ultimate Passion
If you are a passionate traveler then nobody can stop you from going north in Pakistan. Pakistan is one of the beautiful and cheapest countries to travel. Traveling in the north of Pakistan is the safest option for anyone as well. If you want to travel to Pakistan then there would be two major options you have, the first one is KPK and Kashmir and the other one is Gilgit Baltistan. we’ll review both options in this blog.
KPK and Kashmir
Naran, Kaghan, Malam Jabba, Sawat and Balakot would be the best options if you want a less adventurous and comfortable spot to stay. Kashmir is the next step after exploring KPK which is really beautiful and astonishing peaceful place to stay but adventurous as well at the same because Kashmir is not a fully developed area but people of Kashmir is very nice and extremely humble. Kashmiri food can also be the attraction to travel in Kashmir. Neelam valley, Sharda and Arang Kel is the major tourist attraction there. You can get cheap accommodation as well in offseasons. It would be expansive in summers because mostly tourist travels there in summers. Kashmir has a different flavor of tourism than other areas in Pakistan. It has a rich variety of mountains and lakes. People of Kashmir are really beautiful. Weather is really harsh there in winters whereas bearable in summers.
Gilgit Baltistan
Traveling in Gilgit Baltistan would be a very adventurous option for traveling lovers. There is a variety of highest mountains i.e Nanga Parbat, K2, Rakaposhi, etc. Gilgit Baltistan would be a great option for hikers. Hundreds of hikers travel to Gilgit Baltistan from all around the world every year to hike the mountains. Naltar Valley, Hunza Valley, Fairy Meadows, Skardu, and Deosai are the major attractions of tourists in Pakistan. Weather is extremely harsh there is winters whereas pleasant in summers. People of Gilgit Baltistan is really educated and humble. Government of Pakistan continuously working to provide facilities there to encourage tourism there. To avoid uncomfortable road trip you can get a flight to Islamabad to Skardu or Gilgit.
Tips to Book Hotels
It's better to book hotels there before reaching there. There are many tourism groups on facebook as well. The Korakaram Club is one of the most useful pages to approach other experienced travelers and hotel managers there. Search hotels on booking.com and Facebook to approach them. You must have good communication and negotiation skills to travel in budget. You must have to use your negotiation skills with hotel managers and taxi drivers there to travel in budget. You can be allowed to use kitchens in hotels as well if you want to cook by urself in the budget because the people of Pakistan is really humble and generous.
